Larry Crown, 73, of Rochester, MN went to be with Jesus on March 21, 2025. He was baptized, confirmed and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester. He loved Jesus his Savior and his church family.

Larry was employed by Ability Building Center for 39 years, and helped with maintenance at Michaels Restaurant. The employees always took time to talk with him, and of course he had many stories to share with them.

Growing up and to this day, Larry would travel all over Rochester, either on foot or on his bicycle. Thank you to all the drivers who watched out for him as he rode his bicycle or walked. We always said God's angels were watching over him. He always wanted to be a mailman. He knew MANY mailmen and all their route numbers. Larry loved watching football, golf, Gunsmoke, The Three Stooges and especially the Andy Griffith Show.

Over the years, REM and all their wonderful staff and counselors, especially Richard, Elizabeth, and Dani, cared for Larry. They were family to him. Thank you also to Olmsted Medical Center's Active Aging Services and Season's Hospice who helped in so many ways. Larry and our families were truly blessed by the wonderful people in his life. He crossed the path of many people during his life. Whether it was on the street, in a store, a park or at church, he enjoyed life and is going to be missed.

He is survived by cousins, Vickie (Howie) Luehmann of Lewiston and Connie (Ed) Feeder of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Dorothy Crown.

Memorials preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral homes (5421 Royal Pl. NW Rochester, MN 55901). A Prayer Service will be at 11 AM, immediately followed by interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
