Larry was born in Holly Michigan at Mrs. Perry's Maternity Home. He attended Holly High School. He worked on his parent's farm while growing up. After High School he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. After the service he started working for CSX Railroad and retired from there. He was preceded in death by his father Cecil L. Gordon; mother, Virginia E. Gordon. He is survived by brother, Roy Gordon of Clarkston; sister, Linda S. (Steven) Walter and nieces and nephews, Debbie (Tim) Gordon of Waterford, Andy (Lynn) Gordon of Waterford, Bill (Rebecca) Gordon of Ortonville, Charlie Gordon of Holly, Chad (Laurie) Perigo of Ragland, Alabama and Brandee (Holly) Perigo of Flint. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and visiting the casino. For a number of years he called Bingo for Seniors. A military service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 promptly at 1:30 PM. Reflections can be shared on Dryer Funeral Home website.
