Larry Gene Pittman, 69, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023. He was born February 15, 1954, in Russell Springs, KY to Edna (Gentry) Stafford and Paul Pittman. He had two daughters, Allison Pittman and Ashley (Pittman) Talerico.
He was a 1972 graduate of Franklin Community High School. He specialized in working as a Tool and Die maker. He loved his birth state of Kentucky where he retired to. He enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, working outside, shopping, cooking, watching western movies, and visiting with friends and family. He was a powerful, courageous, giving, independent, and loving man who had a significant place in his heart for his loved ones.
Survivors include his two daughters, Allison Pittman of Franklin, IN and Ashley (Pittman) Talerico of Whiteland, IN; his brother, Jeff Stafford of Franklin, IN; sister, Patricia (Stafford) Tucker of Russell Springs, KY; four grandchildren, Chloe Pittman, Gwyneth Mitchell, Gabriel Laccetti, and Grayson Talerico; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna (Gentry) Stafford and Paul Pittman; stepfather, Billy Stafford; grandparents, Hollis and Alice Gentry; several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a nephew.
Family and friends may join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Franklin American Legion, located at 1200 Park Avenue in Franklin, IN. Cremation services are provided by Jessen Funeral Home & Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Lake Cumberland, KY with family and friends.
