Larry A. Trimble

Larry A. Trimble, 71, passed away on June 04, 2023 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, IL.
Larry was born on January 25, 1952 in Freeport, IL the son of James F and Lucille (Schauer) Trimble. He married Jean Gaulrapp on June 25, 1971 at St. Joseph Church in Freeport. Larry was a in the United States Army during the Vietnam War conflict. He worked as a Manager at Bee Line Service for 20 years and then at Menards in Freeport prior to his retirement. Larry was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Men's Group and Building Committee at the church. He also enjoyed bowling and particiaped in the mens and couples league here in Freeport. Most of all Larry loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife, Jean Trimble of Freeport; children, James Trimble and spouse Brittany of Monroe, WI, Marie Stott of Freeport, Kay Schlosser and spouse Kurt of Orangeville; 9 grandchildren, Christian, Aiden, Katherine, Kylie, Wriglie, Addison, Ross, Kade and Bryant; sister, Terry Olmstead and spouse Bill of Freeport; mother-in-law, Neva Barthel of Freeport; 3 sisters-in-law, Mary Leverington and spouse James of Freeport, Lois Deininger and spouse Kirk of San Ramon, CA, Rose Smull and spouse Bill of Freeport; 2 brothers-in- law, Edward "Bud" Gaulrapp and spouse Sarah of Lake Carroll, George Gaulrapp and spouse Karrie of Freeport; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Edward "Dutch" Gaulrapp.
Friends and family will be received from 4:00pm until time of Memorial Servcie at 6:00pm on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Father Robert Camacho,officating.
