Laura J. Bossenberry

Laura J. Bossenberry, née Latiolais, age 86, of Royal Oak, passed away on September 5, 2022.
Born April 17, 1936 to Lionel and Loula Latiolais, Laura was raised in Henderson, Louisiana and was the fourth of twelve children. She attended Southwestern Louisiana Institute until 1957 when she met her husband, Earl.
Laura grew up with a deep appreciation of the simple things in life. She was always in awe of nature and its magnificence. Her values of family and faith were fundamental throughout her life. She was warm and loving, making each person she met feel special and valued. Laura was a wonderful wife, amazing mother and had a kind, genuine and joyful spirit.
Beloved wife of Earl for 61 years until his passing in March of 2020. Loving mother of Renee (Kevin) Lynch, Julie Bossenberry (David Regan), Stephen Bossenberry, Suzanne (Brad) Cross, Melanie (Bryan) Boswell, Camille Bossenberry (Jon Dole). Proud grandmother of Bryan, Travis, Nigel, Gillian, Nikolaus, Laurel, Olivia, Kara Louise, Irelyn, Allison (Scott Kennedy), Bobby, Clayton, Gavin, Julia, Natalie, Elliot, James, Colette. Dear sister of Clarine Flaherty and Tony Latiolais, and nine other late siblings - Lee Roy, Albert, Warren, Lionel Jr., Achille, Daro, Georgia, Evelyn, Danny. Cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The funeral mass will be held at National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica on Thursday, September 8th at 10:00 am. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:30 am in St. Thérèse Chapel preceding the funeral. The life of Earl Bossenberry will also be celebrated at the funeral mass.
