Laurie J. Funk, 49, of Canton, passed away on March 18, 2025. She was born on April 19, 1975 of Akron, Ohio. She graduated with the class of 1993 from Waterloo High School. She enjoyed the band and playing her saxophone. After graduation she proudly served in the U.S. Army. Laurie was an avid reader and also enjoyed fishing.
Laurie is survived by her mother Dawn (Thomas) Batton; father William McKinnon; aunts Carla McKinnon and Paula Sue (Dave) Hostettler; uncles James Moyer and Tim (Beth) McKinnon and many cousins, relatives and friends
