Lavada Sue Wright

Lavada Sue Wright, age 42, of Hudson, Michigan, passed away at home on December 25, 2025. Lavada was born on April 8, 1983, in Adrian, Michigan, to the late Dennis and Shirley (Amos) Williams. She attended Morenci High School and graduated in 2002. Lavada enjoyed all types of music, collecting dolphin knick-knacks, spending time with her children, and being with her nieces and nephews. Lavada is survived by her children, Ella and Remington Bennefield, of Hudson; her loving partner and the father of her children, Thomas Bennefield, of Hudson; and her siblings, Travis (Mindy) Williams of Hudson, Troy (Angie) Williams of North Adams, and Trent (Courtney) Williams of Morenci. She is also survived by her nieces, Mackenzie, Caidence, Amber, and Jenna; her nephews, Rylee, Bryson, and Deacon; one great-niece, Addilynn; and many other close family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Shirley Williams, and her sister-in-law, Vicki Williams. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Morenci Sportsman's Club on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., prior to the service. A dinner will follow at the same location. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations toward the cost of cremation services may be made.
