Lawrence David Kramer, affectionately known as Larry, passed away on January 2, 2025, just shy of his 74th birthday. Born in Lansing, MI on January 10, 1951, Lawrence was a pillar of his community, a loving brother, and a friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a man of unwavering loyalty, radiating warmth and generosity to those around him. His laughter was contagious, his storytelling captivating, and his love for his family and friends was boundless.
Lawrence was a rock - reliable, steadfast, and always willing to lend a hand. He dedicated many years of his life working as a maintenance supervisor at Holiday Inn and Quality Inn in Lansing. His work ethic was admirable, his commitment unwavering. He brought joy and camaraderie to his work, always ready with a story or a kind word. In his leisure time, Lawrence enjoyed watching television and listening to classic rock music - a testament to his easy-going and jovial nature. He was also a lover of animals, his empathy and kindness extending to all creatures great and small.
Lawrence is survived by his two sons, Ron and Eric; siblings; Marilyn (Ken) Taylor, Brenda (Gary) Munday, Ken (Joni) Kramer, Ron (Pam) Kramer, Gene (Bridgett) Kramer, Clifford Kramer; Special brother, Todd Quick as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his sister, Karen Kramer; Parents, Merritt Kramer and Henrietta Kramer.
We invite all who knew Lawrence to share their memories and upload photos to the memorial page. His life was a rich tapestry of love, laughter, and hard work, and we encourage you to celebrate his life by sharing your stories of how he touched your lives.
