Billow's Funeral Homes & Crematory - Fairlawn ChapelLawrence L. Sebak, age 79, of Akron, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025.
He was born February 16, 1946, in Tarentum, PA; son of the late John and Caroline Sebak. Lawrence enjoyed working in his yard, restoring homes and cars, especially Pontiacs. He loved music and art, never failing to bring his creativity to life.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, his cherished wife, Susan Sebak, his brother John Sebak, and sister Anne Flynn.
He is survived by his devoted children, Jacqueline Morrison, Lawrence M. (Alison) Sebak, and Barbara (Dave) Gorczyca; treasured grandchildren, Joe Morrison, Marianne (Hendrik) Morrison, Caroline Morrison, Nick Gorczyca, and Lexie Gorczyca; beloved siblings, Trudie O’Donnell and Edward (Mary Anne) Sebak; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Celebration of life will take place FRIDAY, September 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333.
Memorial donations in Lawrence’s name are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
