Lee Gerard Harris

Lafayette; Lee Gerard Harris was born in Lafayette to the late Mary Claire Harris and Raleigh Gerard September 15, 1973.

He was employed at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center as a Supervisor and a lead Chef. After graduation from Lafayette High School he went on to join the United States Marines Corps then coming home and attending college at USL for a short time before developing a passion to become a cook He will be remembered as a great kind, loving person with a smile that would light up any room proud and protector of our family. He loved music, reading, sports, and entertainment.

He leaves to cherish his memory one brother; Steven George, two nephews; Steven George Jr. and Gavin George, Horace George (stepfather) Survivors include Two; Aunts Mary Lou Harris, Theresa Harris One Uncle; Allen Harris of North Carolina and host of cousins, family members and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; Mary Claire Harris-George and Raleigh Gerard his grandparents; Ann Mae Harris and Paul Harris Sr. Uncles; Joseph Shirley Harris, Carron Harris, Joseph Frank Harris, Ashton Harris, Paul Harris Jr. Aunts; Charline George, Corrine George and Irene and Horace George Sr.
