Mr. Lee Woodton Rudd, III, 73, passed away Wednesday (August 20, 2025) at his residence in Argyle following an extended illness.

He was born in Henderson, NC to the late Lee Woodton Rudd, Jr. and Mary Dorothy Inman Rudd. He was best known as an artist who once sold his paintings in the area. He was of the methodist faith and also served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his three brothers, Carroll Robbin Rudd (Kelly) of Waycross, Barry Lynn Rudd (Tammy) of Waycross, and Douglas Hart Rudd (Joy) of Blackshear; a niece, Shelly McDaniel (Dwayne); three nephews, Chris Rudd, Nick Rudd (Kirsten), and Jonathan Rudd.

A private memorial service will be held Saturday (August 23, 2025) at Music Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
