Lemon Pollard Jr.

Family will receive friends Friday February 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Rd. Columbus, OH 43227.

Lemon Pollard Jr. was born on March 31, 1943 on the west side of Opelika, Alabama and went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2026.

Lemon grew up on the eastside of Columbus, graduating from South High School then furthering his education by attending college part-time. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army and later settled in California. Lemon retired from United Airlines where he was a valued employee for many years, then returning to Columbus, Ohio.

Lemon was very dedicated to his family and friends. He continued to support his grandchildren each season, no matter the sport. He will be remembered for his caring spirit and deep knowledge of every topic. Lemon cared for his family until his final days. The void left in our hearts is indescribable.

Lemon is preceded in death by his mother and father, Jeanette and Lemon Pollard Sr. ; sister, Inez Gullick; brother-in-laws, Charles Roberts and Curtis Monroe ; nephews, Reginald Phillips and Tyshawn Hancock; niece, Christine Pollard.

Lemon is survived by his loving daughter, Charity Pollard (Kevin) Daniels ; sisters, Catherine Monroe, Laura Roberts and Kattie-Mae Stephen; granddaughters, Markylah and Ryana; grandsons, Chauncey and Malik; bonus grandchildren, Sontee and Sir'Ryan; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
