LeSaun Lenae Shaw, 58, passed away on July 22, 2025. Services will be Wednesday, July 30, 2025 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
LeSaun was a Graduate of Fairdale High School in Fairdale Kentucky, Also reigning as a 4yr Varsity Basketball Power Forward/Center. She continued her Basketball talents at Austin Peay State University, Clarksville Tn.
LeSaun Shaw was the devoted mother of Larry Darnell Shaw Beasley Jr. and Ondrea P. Lenae Shaw Beasley, whom she cherished beyond measure. Her children were her greatest joy, and she poured endless love, wisdom, and strength into their lives every single day.
Born with a giving heart and a spirit that welcomed everyone as family, LeSaun was a sister not only to her eleven siblings but also to countless others whose lives she touched. Her home and her heart were always open - she had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved.
Those who knew Sauni will remember her for her warm embrace, her laughter that could light up any room, and her unwavering support in times of need. She taught by example the values of resilience, and unconditional tough love.
She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, family, and community that will live on through her children, her grandchildren; Lyric Shaw Beasley, Nova LeSaun Shaw Beasley, Shykire Shaw Beasley, Ramiah Carrion, Alexis Richardson, Legend Richardson, Malayasiah Alvarez, Artiz Alvarez; her sisters and brothers of heart and soul; and all who were blessed to know her.
Sauni will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be a guiding light to those who loved her. Rest in peace, Your love lives on.
