Ware - Leslie (Garson) Labranche, 74, of Ware, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at home.
She leaves her husband, Robert B. Labranche of Ware; her daughter, Michelle Devlin and her husband, Ryan, of Ware; her two beloved grandchildren, Michael and James Devlin, who were her pride and joy; her brother, David Garson and his wife, Janet, of Scotland, CT; as well as her several nieces and nephews. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Roy and Marcia (Pinkenfield) Garson.
Leslie worked as a financial aid representative with Springfield College for over 20 years.
Leslie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a kind and caring sister, and an incredible friend to many. She was an avid reader and enjoyed fiction most of all. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, and needlepoint, and she loved going to the Deerfield craft fair once a year with her dear friend, Lori. She was a lover of puzzles, and when it came to a game of trivial pursuit there was no one who could beat her. Most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and especially her grandkids.
Calling hours for Leslie will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 9:30am to 11:30am in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. A memorial service will follow immediately thereafter, at 11:30am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101, or online at https://www.dakinhumane.org/tribute-donation.
