Letha Rae Bloomer, 85, of Sparta passed away on Friday, July 11th 2025 at Mercy Hospital.
She was born on December 27th, 1939 in Garrison, Missouri to Harry "Bud" and Hazell (Hobbs) Vansickle.
Letha was a Sparta High School graduate, class of 1957, and a member of Sparta Church of Christ. She was passionate about painting and participating in local craft shows. She loved traveling, especially to a sunny beach, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Hazell.
Letha was married to Frank Bloomer for 67 years who survives her. She is also survived by her three children, Taye (Bloomer) Verfurth and Jerry Verfurth Jr. of Ozark, Trent Bloomer of Sparta, and Twyla (Bloomer) Collins of Springfield; three grandchildren, Kyle Verfurth and his wife Mandy, of Rogersville, Trista (Verfurth) Hilton and her husband Ben of Highlandville, and Skylar Verfurth and his wife Kayln of Strafford. She had seven great grandchildren Gabe Hilton, Tucker Verfurth, Caylin Hilton, Carson Hilton, Brynn Verfurth, Bodie Verfurth, and Hartlie Verfurth.
Visitation for Letha Rae will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Ozark. Family members will attend a graveside service and burial following the visitation at Roberts Cemetery in Sparta.
