Letha Katlind Edwards, 29, passed away on August 19th, 2025. Letha's life was touched by God from the very beginning. Born to Tracy Tuttle Edwards and the late Anthony Farrell Edwards on May 29th, 1996. As a baby, she was healed in miraculous ways and her gentle spirit and joyful nature made her an easy child to love. Letha was a devoted mother and was known as a talented artist, a steady and thoughtful caregiver, and a loyal friend. In her short 29 years, she lived more fully, more bravely, and more beautifully than many do in a lifetime.
A graduate of Western Governors University, Letha earned her bachelor's degree in teaching. She loved music, concerts, coffee, thrifting, traveling, horses-and she could never resist a good pickle. To know Letha was to know someone who never met a stranger. Those who loved her often said she was a princess-not because of crowns or castles, but because she carried herself with grace, kindness, and a radiant aura that made everyone around her feel cherished. She was the very embodiment of a forgiving spirit that never sought anything in return, bringing light and laughter into every circumstance and extending compassion and grace to all. People were drawn to Letha like flowers turning toward the sun, without realizing they were doing it. She didn't have to try, and she didn't have to call attention to herself. There was simply a light in her presence that made others want to lean in. Just as the sun nourishes without asking for thanks, she gave warmth and ease to everyone around her, leaving people better simply for having been near her.
She is survived by her son, Lincoln Shaw Morgan, who was the greatest joy of her life; her parents, Tracy Tuttle Edwards, and Samuel Edwards, who lovingly raised her; siblings, Morgan (Abi) Carbajal; and her husband Jonathan Carbajal, Farrell Edwards, and Isabella Edwards; grandmother Kathy Tuttle; niece and nephew Tatum and Luna; uncle, Steven Tuttle; and aunt, Beth Tuttle and cousins Bryson, Chloe & Allie, uncles, Allen & Chris Edwards, aunts, Jessica & Kim Edwards, and grandfather, Michael Edwards . She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Farrell Edwards, her grandfather, Ricky Tuttle, grandfather, Farrell Edwards, uncle, Todd Edwards, and grandmother, Oma Gail Edwards.
Her dad, Anthony, affectionately called her Little Lala, a name that captured her sweetness and playful spirit. She was the very first grandchild in the family-a miracle from the start. Doctors had told her dad he would never be able to have children, but God had other plans and Letha came into the world and proved them wrong. From that moment on, she was her Gran's "favorite grandchild"-a family joke with more than a little truth. Letha shared an extraordinary bond with her siblings-Abi, Farrell, and Isabella. She was the firstborn, the "fearful leader," crafting strength, determination and a restless need to love in each of their souls, the one they always looked to, and the one who set the tone for the closeness they would all share. Together, they built a connection so deep and unbreakable that strangers often stopped them to say they had never seen anything like it before. Their bond was a gift-rare, beautiful, and admired by all who witnessed it, a bond that will never be broken-and Letha's role as the oldest sister will forever remain a guiding light in their lives. The love woven into these relationships will remain a treasured part of her legacy.
She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her compassionate heart, her steady wisdom, and the way she loved her son more than anything in the world.
Letha's Celebration of Life will be held at 'Point Lookout Vineyard' on September 7th, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm.
In honor of Letha's greatest love-her son, Lincoln-a trust fund has been established through Treasured Memories, lovingly named "Lincoln's Light" to reflect the way she will continue to shine through him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to this fund to support his future.
Alongside the trust fund, the family will also have a special memory box at the service. Friends and loved ones are invited to bring letters, photos, or written memories of Letha to place inside. These will be kept safe for Lincoln, so that as he grows, he can know his mother more fully through the love and stories shared by those whose lives she touched.
