Liane "Mimi" Meuret, a beacon of elegance and grace, passed away on May 24, 2024, in Helotes, Texas. Born on September 7, 1960, in Berlin Germany to the late Gudrun Richter, Liane's life was a tapestry of love and dedication, woven with the threads of her rich heritage and the warmth of her beautiful smile. Liane was the epitome of poise, sophistication, and class. A hardworking woman with strong will and determination, Liane excelled in every endeavor she undertook.
Family was the cornerstone of Liane's life. She was devoted to her mother and maternal grandparents, Werner and Erika Stephan. Her love knew no bounds when it came to her daughter, Melanie Reagin, and her granddaughters, Eliana and Charlize Reagin. Liane embraced the role of "Mimi" with every fiber of her being. Her brothers, Andreas and Michael Stephan, will remember her fondly as a woman with unwavering commitment.
Liane's affection for animals was evident in her cherished pets. Dusty, her beloved cat, and her loyal dogs, Akeena, Jasmine, and Anja, were a source of joy and companionship throughout her life. Her pets were more than animals; they were family, and she cared for them with the same love and attention she gave to her human relatives.
An adventurous spirit, Liane loved to travel the world, exploring the depths of the oceans through scuba diving, and embracing the cultures she encountered. Her passion for travel was matched only by her talent in the kitchen. Liane took pride in her ability to craft traditional German dishes, a skill that she passed down to her family with love and a sprinkle of her signature style.
As we bid farewell to Liane "Mimi" Meuret, we celebrate a life that was lived with purpose and joy. Her legacy of love will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her earthly journey may have ended, but the memories she created and the love she shared will resonate forever.
In Liane's memory, we hold close the image of her beautiful smile, the warmth of her embrace, and the unwavering love she had for her family. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit continues to live on through her cherished daughter, adored granddaughters, brothers, and the countless lives she touched. Rest in peace, dear Liane; your light will shine on eternally.
