Lillian Stacey McJunkin, 97, of Greenville, wife of the late Woodrow McJunkin, died peacefully in her sleep Friday, December 1, 2023.
Born in Mountain Grove, MO, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lillian Smith Stacey.
A faithful follower of Jesus, Louise was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was loved and adored by her family and found great joy in taking every opportunity placed in her path to serve others in their times of need. She was blessed with the gift of hospitality and had a special way of making everyone feel loved and important. What a testimony and legacy she has provided for all who knew and loved her!
She is survived by sons, Terry W. McJunkin and Rex L. McJunkin (Jackie); grandchildren, Scott McJunkin (Rene), Christopher McJunkin (April), Tonya Johnson (Brent); seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. She was the last surviving member of her family.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Oak Pointe Church, 8649 Augusta Road, Pelzer, SC 29669, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Pointe Church, Building Fund, 8649 Augusta Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.
