Obituary of Lillian M. Ragone
Lillian M. Ragone (nee Mignone) age 92 years of Haddonfield, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 18, 2024. She was born in Camden, NJ to the late Nicholas and Jennie Mignone.
Beloved wife of Daniel J. Ragone for 72 years. Devoted mother of Daniel J. Ragone, Jr. (Laura), Dean A. Ragone (Sharon), and David N. Ragone (Nicolette). Loving grandmother of Jeffrey (Amanda), Gina, Lauryn, Danny, Michael and Drew and great grandmother of Julian. Dear sister of the late Yolanda Thomas (the late Lewis), Marie Putiri (the late Joseph), and the late Rudy Mignone. Also survived by her sister in law, Ann Hardy as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Lillian was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School, class of 1949. She worked part-time for her father at their family wholesale floral company, Camden Florist. Furthermore, she was an active community member. She was a member of the Haddon Fort Nightly in Haddonfield and the Tavistock Country Club as well as their 40 Club. In her free time, Lillian was an avid bridge player, enjoyed investing in the stock market, and offering investment advice. She was a gracious hostess, world traveler, and spent her summers in Sea Isle City with her children and grandchildren Most of all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Lil dedicated her life to her husband of 72 years and her three sons. She will always be remembered for her giving heart, gregarious personality, and her flair for contemporary style.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9:15-11 AM at the Church of Christ the King, 200 Windsor Ave in Haddonfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial we be celebrated at 11 AM. Entombment of cremated remains will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street Philadelphia, PA 19103.
