Linda Crawford Horvath

Linda Crawford Horvath gained her angel wings Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 73.
She passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Linda grew up in Clio, Louisiana, and attended Springfield High School. From there she went on
to attend Southeastern Louisiana University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in
business.
Linda's loyalty to her family was unwavering. Through diligent support of her husband's work
and enduring devotion to her children, Linda built a home for her family filled with love,
comfort, and safety. She enjoyed spending time with her girls, liked cooking requested food for
her family, enjoyed growing flowers, going on walks in the forest, and going on family
vacations. From sewing on buttons, singing bedtime songs, and going on shopping trips, to
providing a willing ear to listen and an open shoulder to cry on, Linda was always willing to go
to any lengths for the ones she loved.
Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years Steve Wayne Horvath; daughters Bryony Stafford
(Eric) and Marissa Douglas McCullen(Justin); granddaughters Caroline Stafford, Addy Douglas,
and Eliska Stafford; mother Gloria Langdon Crawford; sisters Tammy Carter and Betty
Covington. She was preceded in death by her father JR Crawford and son-in-law Blake Douglas.
She will be missed by her family but they are comforted knowing that she is in heaven with her
Lord and Savior, while surrounded by those who've gone before her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70401 on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Drew Stevens will officiate with interment to follow in Killian Baptist Church Cemetery.
