March 24, 1951 – August 11, 2025
Linda, a lifelong Tacoma resident, passed away on August 11, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and dementia. Born on March 24, 1951, Linda was known for her warmth, humor, and the best cookies around.
A proud graduate of Lincoln High School, she worked in banking for many years and retired from Columbia Bank's Stadium branch, where her genuine kindness made her a favorite among customers - some even waiting in line just for a moment to chat with her.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Fred; children, Fred Jespersen Jr. and Shelley Buck (Brian); and grandson, Daniel Buck. She is also survived by her sister, Bettie Tompkins; sister-in-law, Colleen Vincent; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 3:30 PM at The Axiom Church, 611 E 82nd St, Tacoma. All are welcome to honor Linda's memory and the joy she brought to so many.
