Linda Gayle Krohn passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on December 18, 2023, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born on October 19, 1960, in Benton, Arkansas, to Marge and the late Albert Wingfield, Linda lived her life with deep faith in her Lord, an energetic and passionate spirit, and dedication and unwavering love for her friends and family.
Linda was a dedicated educator who earned her bachelor's degree in primary education from Concordia University in River Forest, Chicago. She served over 30 years as a classroom and physical education teacher, a blessed ministry marked by unwavering commitment to her students, whom she served not only with expertise but with devotion that motivated students far beyond the classroom walls.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Linda is survived by her loving and dedicated husband Kevin, her children, Brent (and daughter-in-law Sarah), Taryn, Marissa (and son- in-law Lawson Jefferson), and Zach, and her devoted mother, Marge. She was a loving sister to Bob (wife Jeri), Phil (wife Jeanne), Carol (husband Dan), Judy (husband Tim), and Becca (husband Tony). She leaves behind her grandchildren Gabriel, Wesley, Ezra, Jane, Tobias, and baby Jefferson. She possessed a strong love and dedication to her family, who were the joy of her life.
Linda had a passion for her friends, music, and faith in God, all of which enriched her life deeply and were strong testimonies to her character and love for others. Linda enjoyed her daily devotions and reading stories with her grandchildren, traveling with her family, reveling in new experiences, and creating memories together.
Linda lived her life with passion, touching the hearts and lives of all who knew her. She will be missed and forever cherished in the hearts she has left behind. After years of watching her struggle through her illness, we sit in joyful knowledge of the peace and restoration she now has, resting near her Savior, Jesus; her friends and family look forward to uniting with her again soon.
