Linda Christine Lindberg, a longtime resident of Washington Township, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 18, 1956 in Beverly, Massachusetts, the daughter of Gaston and Adelaide (Morreti) Van Hoorde. She graduated from Rochester High School. Linda married her beloved husband Tom on January 18, 1981 at St. Andrews Church. She worked for many years at the Romeo Observer in sales. Linda was a huge advocate for local small business and served on many different boards of the Romeo Washington Chamber of Commerce from 2009 until 2023.
She is survived by her beloved husband Tom, loving sons Thomas (Julie) Lindberg of Bruce Twp., and Andrew (Caitlyn) Lindberg of Bruce Twp.; beloved grandchildren Thomas Lindberg, III and Sydney Lindberg. Also surviving siblings Cindy (Jim) Reynolds, Mark (Maeve) Van Hoorde and Cheryl Van Hoorde. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
