Linda "Lucy" Milanowski, a whirlwind of love, laughter, and unapologetic spirit, passed away, leaving behind a legacy as bold and unforgettable as she was.
A woman who loved animals more fiercely than most people love anything, she never met a stray she didn't try to save. She was tough as nails, sharp as a whip, and funny enough to make a whole room cry laughing. She didn't suffer fools, didn't take no crap, and taught everyone around her the value of standing tall and speaking up.
Whether she was making new friends (which she did everywhere) or chasing down some adventure with fire in her eyes, she lived life with both feet on the gas pedal. She could out-dance, out-laugh, and out-love just about anyone.
Lucy is survived by her adoring family: devoted husband, Ken Lowery; her fiery daughters, Morgan Bergman and Jamie Milanowski; grandson, Tanner Bergman; sisters, Deborah Miller, Dayna Levake, Nancy Cox, Michelle Fuqua, Laura Peterson, Julie Hommerding; and her mother, Norma Wicktor. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Miller, Jr. in 2017, and her brother, Quinton Miller, in 2024.
Her absence leaves a hole the size of her heart; huge, generous, and impossible to replace. But her stories, her spirit, and the love she gave will live on forever in those lucky enough to have known her.
In true Linda fashion, her life won't be remembered with quiet tears but with loving laughter, shared memories, and stories her loved ones will carry on of her legacy. She wouldn't have it any other way.
