Linda L. Pelham

ADRIAN- Linda L. Pelham, age 75, of Adrian, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025, while under the compassionate care of Hospice of Lenawee. Born December 29, 1949, in Adrian, she was the daughter of the late Loudell and Mary (Glancy) Pelham.
A lifelong Lenawee County resident, Linda was a graduate of Onsted High School with the Class of 1968. She was employed over 33 years as a purchasing clerk for the local assembly plant of General Motors.
Artistically talented, she enjoyed employing her creative mind at various sewing, crafting, and scrapbooking projects. She loved to decorate her yard each spring with beautifully designed flower pots, and she also was successful in growing vegetables from her garden containers. She enjoyed genealogy, and was an exquisite cook, renowned for her famous cherry pie and mac and cheese.
Linda is remembered for her independent and determined approach to the challenges of her life, and her selfless and caring concern to never burden others. She never complained and always persevered with grace.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Tyler (Amy) Pelham of Adrian; grandson, Grant (Alyssa) Pelham of Onsted; granddaughter, Ashlee Pelham of Adrian; great-grandson, Rhett Pelham; siblings, Nancy Dickerson of Adrian, Bill Pelham of Onsted, Bud (Colleen) Pelham of Onsted, and Kris (Kathy) Pelham of Onsted; sister-in-law, Carmen Pelham of Onsted; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members, and best friend Pam Synder. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Bethie" Ensor; sister, Susan (Charlie) Robinson; two brothers, Tom and Dennis Pelham; sister-in-law, Karen Pelham; and brother-in-law, Clyde Dickerson.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 2:00 – 4 :00 p.m. and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March, 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Maple Shade Cemetery in Onsted.
Memorial contributions in honor of Linda are suggested to benefit Hospice of Lenawee, who took excellent care of Linda in her final days.
