Linda L. Ramsay, 57, of Middleton, passed away Wednesday, October2, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Steven J. Ramsay.
Linda was born in Lynn on April 2, 1967, the daughter of Phillips and Sharon (Peterson) Burrill.
Linda was an extraordinary woman whose life revolved around her family. As a devoted mother to her four children, she was more than just their caretaker-she was their best friend. Her children were always her top priority, and she found joy in ensuring they were loved, supported, and nurtured in every way.
Linda also cherished her role as a grandmother, spending her days lovingly caring for her granddaughter. She had a deep love for the outdoors and made every family gathering special with her presence. Family meant everything to Linda, and she never missed an opportunity to be surrounded by those she held dear.
When she wasn't focused on caring for others, Linda enjoyed simple pleasures, like going out to eat with her husband, shopping trips with her sister, or finding solace in reading her Bible. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and it gave her strength and wisdom, which she shared freely with those around her.
Linda's heart was enormous, always open to give love and kindness to everyone she met. Her gentle words of wisdom and her unwavering love will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and care will live on through those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Linda is survived by her children, Courtney Breau and her husband Anthony, Ryan Ramsay, Jared Ramsay, Ian Ramsay, and ; her granddaughter, Ava; her longtime partner, Todd Citroni; her siblings, Lydia Olofson, Leo Burrill, Doris Brown, and Phillips Burrill, JR., and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 8 from 4-8PM at the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway(Rt. 129), Lynn. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, in the funeral home at 11AM. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery in Lynnfield. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to her family.
