Richard is survived by his partner Ceppy Avery, his siblings; Russell Severance, Julie Simard and her husband Gary, Kathleen Rodriguez, John Cushman, Andrea Carey and her husband Timothy, Elizabeth "Betty" Cushman and her partner Scott Beverage, Stacey Cushman and her fiancé Robert Williams, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his son Richard S. Cushman, his brother Arthur Severance and his sister Mary Cushman.
Visitation for Richard will be held on SATURDAY, August 23, 2025, from 4-8PM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129) Lynn, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Following cremation, burial will be on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11AM in Pine Grove Cemetery Lynn
