Linda Smith, age 57 went Home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2025.
Linda was born on February 25, 1968 to Crecsell and Eartha Logan. Lindaattended Bridgeton and Vineland Public Schools, graduating from
Bridgeton High School, Class of 1986. She was employed by Trump CastleCasino before obtaining her desired role as a healthcare professional. She worked at various Healthcare facilities in the Tri County area, providing exceptional patient care.
Linda was sweet, caring, and trustworthy person. She would do anything to help others. She enjoyed blessing people with random gifts. She will always be remembered for her generosity and pleasant demeanor. She placed GOD first in her life. She enjoyed spending quality time with the love of her life, the late Ventrelle Charles Smith and their children.She was big on RESPECT and lived by Luke 6:31, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." Linda loved sports, especially football and basketball. Her favorite NFL team was the Dallas Cowboys. She could"trash" talk with the best of them and was known to break out with a hearty in your face laugh whenever the Eagles lost.
Linda leaves to cherish her memories, four children; Ventrelle Jr., TaZiyah,Niyahn, and Fashionette Smith of Vineland, NJ. Her mother, Eartha Loganof Millville, NJ. Two sisters, Mattie Mayo (Antonio) and Nadine Logan of Millville, N; Brother Donnell Logan of Trenton, NJ; Sisters-in-law Priscilla,Lavonia, and Rasheena Smith (Manuel Mayas); Brothers-ín-law Richard Smith Jr. (Stella Hall), Tilo, Rashaad, and Rome Smith. Dearest friends,Audrey Cuf, Sandra Newman (Dinky), and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Crecsell Allen Logan, five brothers, Lydell, Crecsell Jr, Carnell, Clentsel, and Anthony. Father-in-law, Richard T. Smith. mother-in-law. Valerie Gillis Covin, brother-in-law,Omar Smíth, sister-in-law, Valice Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, May 13th, at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM prior to the service. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website, www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
