Lindsay Rae (Parvis) Mills, 42, of Camby, passed away Friday, October 4th, 2024. She was born January 3rd, 1982 in Terre Haute to her parents David Arthur and Janet Sue (Allen) Parvis.
Lindsay is survived by her two children: Kelsey Mills and Kaylee Mills of Camby; her parents, David and Janet Sue (Allen) Parvis of Mooresville; sister, Jamie Tavernier (Charles) of Martinsville; grandmother, Muriel (Payne) Allen of Terre Haute; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lindsay is preceded in death by her grandparents: Edward Allen, Arthur Parvis, and Donna Parvis; and uncles: Richard Harper and Steve Parvis.
Lindsay was a 2000 graduate of Mooresville High School, where she enjoyed being in show choir. She later attended IUPUI in Indianapolis. She was a Expanded Dental Assistant for Dr. Donald T. Fischer and Dr. Stephanie Litz Dental office in Mooresville, Indiana for nearly 15 years. Lindsay was a member of the No Name Book Club and of 4-H club of Johnson and Hendricks County. She was an avid horse show mom, former softball mom, and animal lover. Lindsay loved to lounge by the pool with the kids, four wheeling in Jeeps, and helping them with 4-H projects. Lindsay was known by many to be selfless, courageous, optimistic and was a very loved, goofy, lighthearted, brave, hopeful, dedicated, and caring mother. She also loved traveling to the beach and ocean, she especially loved Lake Monroe.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 12pm (noon) to 1 pm on Saturday, October 12th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
