Lisa (Lukens) Boyle, 59, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Heart to Heart Hospice Hospital. She was born November 20, 1964 in Evansville to the late Laverne (Jones) Welker and Horace M. Lukens III.
Lisa studied psychology, graduating from the University of Evansville with a bachelor's degree and earning a master's degree from IUPUI. She had previously worked in human resources for the State of Indiana, Delta Faucet and Masco Corporation, as well as being an independent human resources consultant. Lisa has been an adjunct professor for the University of Southern Indiana and a teacher assistant at the Montessori Academy.
Most of all, Lisa treasured the time spent with her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother who was involved and supportive of her family in all of their activities. Lisa was active at any school that her children attended, volunteering as the Fine Arts Night chairperson at Plaza Park School, Chair of an EVSC school funding referendum and in the Warrior Command Band Boosters. She loved to cook and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Lisa enjoyed being a part of the Evansville community and it brought her much joy when she would see so many familiar faces everywhere she went.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 27 years, Thomas K. Boyle; children, Elliott Boyle (fiancé, Thomas), Emily Boyle (partner, Jacob), Connor Boyle and Austin Boyle; siblings, Mel (Stacey) Lukens, Linda Lukens Grider and Laura (Mike) Lukens Spillman; and several nieces and nephews.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church, 609 SE 2nd St., Evansville. A Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Anna Von Winckler officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 609 SE 2nd Street, Evansville, IN 47713 or The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 22324, New York, NY 10087.
