Lisa Burns, 59, passed away on September 15, 2024, in Hudson, WI.
Lisa Burns was born on March 10, 1965 in Beeville, TX, to Lawrence and Janice (Hardern) Imm.
She graduated from Stillwater High School.
Her favorite hobbies were roller skating, skiing, watching her favorite shows and movies (John Candy movies in specific), listening to music some favorite songs were "It's been a while" by Stained, "Marry Jane's last Dance" by Tom Petty, and "What it's like" by Everlast. She loved her coffee in the mornings. She loved Teddy her dog, and loved the ocean.
Lisa's favorite foods were corn on the cob, her homemade spaghetti, homemade chili and homemade potato soup, banana cake bars from Quick Trip, crab legs, Chinese in River Falls at China Moon, Steve's Pizza in River Falls, Pizza Ranch in Stillwater, Not Justa a Café in Bayport, ribs, fish and chips from Barnboard in Roberts, white cheddar Cheetos and Doritos.
She survived triple negative breast cancer that metastasized three different times since 2012. She loved playing the piano, talking about memories from her past and sightseeing. She Loved going on family trips. Lisa loved nothing more than putting a smile on people's faces, being there for her kids, making sure everyone she loved was taken care of and fed.
Her favorite place in the world was Corpus Christi, the beach and the ocean.
Her favorite TV shows were Sponge Bob, Ren and Stimpy, South Park, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, House, Love Island, Naked and Afraid, and Grey's Anatomy.
Lisa attended Rasmussen Business School. Early in life she worked as a CNA and nurse until her accident at work that led to her being disabled. She raised her kids all by herself as a single mom.
She liked skiing, and watching football.
She was a very strong woman and overcame many battles in life including cancers, heart attacks, and kidney failure.
She will be missed by so many
Preceded in death by mother Janice Imm; and sister Amy Jo Imm.
Survived by her children Bridget Eisele, Brooklyn Imm, Lawrence Imm
Grandchildren Genevieve Eisele, Isabella Imm; father Lawrence Otto Imm; and siblings Ginger Marsel, Jimmy Imm, Laura Imm, and Larry Imm.
