JENNINGS - It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Lisa Ann Doucet, 59, announce her passing from this life on January 2, 2024. Lisa was born in Jennings, LA on April 28, 1964, to Cleveland Vincent & Eulon Trahan Vincent. She was a graduate of Jennings High School and McNeese State University. Lisa was the owner & operator of Welsh Accounting & Tax Service, where she had worked for over 35 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Lisa had an unending love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and all of her family. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Gerald Doucet; her son, Jeffrey Doucet; her daughter, Amanda Benoit (Josh); her brothers, David Vincent, Gene Vincent (Nita), Keith Vincent (Watty); her sister, Kathy Vincent DiMari (Eric); her two beautiful grandchildren, Adrienne & David Benoit; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland & Eulon Vincent; her brothers, Steven & Norman "Johnny" Vincent; her niece, Stephanie Vincent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immculate Conception Catholic Church in Jennings, LA on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The family of Lisa will begin accepting family and friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 8:00 AM and continue until 1:30 PM, time to proceed to Church for Mass.
