Lisa Jean George,60, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away April 11, 2025, while in Hospice Care. Lisa was the daughter of the late Carson M. George Sr. and the late Helen (Buckley) George of Arkville, New York. Lisa was born in Boston, Massachusetts, (the youngest of 11 children), and grew up in Arkville, NY, attending Margaretville Central School. Lisa spent most of her life in the restaurant/waitress field, in addition to time spent in the National Guard. Lisa loved dancing, singing (karaoke), Halloween and gardening(she was born with a green thumb, beautiful flowers!). Lisa is survived by brothers Stephen of Greenville, NY, Jonathan of Arkville, NY and Timothy of Oneonta, NY. Also, sisters Cathleen Spickerman of Asheville, NC, Colleen Davis of Grand Junction, CO, Jeanne Marie George of Steubenville, Ohio, Patricia(Lonnie) Miller of Grand Junction, CO, and Pamela Smith of Grand Junction, CO. Lisa is also survived by several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by brother Carson Michael George Jr, sister Maureen Erin George and brother-inlaw Tim Smith.
A private burial will take place for immediate family at a later date in New York.
