Lisa M. Marshall, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, at the age of 64. Born on October 8, 1960, in Havelock, North Carolina, to the late James A. Marshall and Carole (Roberson), Lisa's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Lisa was a graduate of Farmington High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. Throughout her life, she found immense joy in the things that brought her the most happiness, including music, particularly her deep love for the Grateful Dead, as a proud "Dead Head." Her free-spirited nature, infectious laughter, and love for life left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
In her professional life, Lisa worked as a dedicated healthcare professional for many years, always showing care and compassion to those in need. She also cherished the time spent with her close-knit family, where her role as sister, aunt was invaluable. She was the loving sister of Janet (Keith) Wheeler, Noelle (Anthony) Rubino, Jimmy (Lucy) Marshall, and the late Jaqueline Marshall. Lisa was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and had a tight clan of cousins who were near and dear to her heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI, with visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Reverend Dave Morrison will officiate the ceremony. Lisa's cremains will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a cause that was close to Lisa's heart.
Lisa's infectious energy, love for life, and free-spirited nature will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
