Lisamarie was born to Carol King and Donnie Bulmer on January 30, 1970, and was lovingly raised by Carol and John Eddy Sr.
She met the love of her life, Michael Doerk, in 1986, and the two were married on April 1, 1989. In 1990, they began their family with the birth of their daughter, Brittany. Lisa and Michael later welcomed two sons, Michael Doerk Jr. and Nicholas Doerk. Lisa prided herself not only on being a mother but also on being a true friend to her children. All three of her kids would describe her as their best friend—someone they could talk to about anything and everything.
Lisa will be dearly missed by her devoted husband Mike, her daughter Brittany (Ryan), her sons Mikey and Nick, and her two cherished grandchildren, Hunter and Stori.
Lisa shared a close and special bond with her siblings, including Tina Matteson (Randy), John Eddy Jr. (Samantha), Ginger Suttle (Austin), and Cara Richards (Joey). She also treasured her relationships with her many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lisa always made it a point to keep in touch and spend time with her extended family whenever possible. She will be missed by her father’s Donnie Bulmer and John Eddy Sr., and she was predeceased by her beloved mother, Carol Eddy.
Some of her happiest moments were spent in her hometown of Chesapeake Beach, playing the slots at Rod ‘n’ Reel, or at her and Mike’s beach condo in Ocean City, where they often enjoyed spending all day at the beach together.
Lisa will be remembered for her infectious smile and her unmistakable love of laughter. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her would describe her as one of the most genuine and kind-hearted people they’d ever encountered. She had a remarkable ability to spread joy and make others laugh, and she valued spending quality time with her friends and family above all else.
