Mr. Lloyd Daniel Fogger, Sr., age 91 of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Born Wednesday, December 24, 1930 in Jamestown, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas I. Fogger and Lillie Mae Robinson Fogger; son, Michael Eugene Fogger; and brothers, Atley and Lonnie Fogger.
Mr. Fogger served proudly in combat during the Korean conflict with the US Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church and was a retired truck driver.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 28 years, Judy Fogger; his children, Lloyd Daniel Fogger, Jr. and Judith Fogger Farmer; his step children, Pattie Cloud Skains (Eric) and Pamela Cloud McManus; his granddaughter, Lauren Tigges; his step-grandchildren, Blake Skains, Hailee Skains, Jacob McManus and Joshua McManus; his step-great grandchildren, Paisley Skains and Brycen Otwell; and his brother, Glen Fogger.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Antioch Community Church Cemetery with Reverands Nick Verrett, Jeff Shows, and Richard Kurtz officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Eric Skains, Blake Skains, Jacob McManus, Joshua Skains, Mel Shaw, Paul Leonard, Glen Fogger. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Brandy, Don McManus, Melvin Shaw, Lawrence Lee, David Airhart, and Eddie Farmer.
