Lola Modjeska Obituary
Lola was born on September 5, 1948 in Linton, IN, to Merrill and Veronica Louidith (Bailey) Moss.
On November 28, 1987 in La Porte, she married Edward Eugene who preceded her in death August 21, 2021. Surviving Lola are her siblings, Donna Moss of Kingsford Heights, Tina Moss of Kingsford Heights, Dawn Walker of Kingsford Heights, Larry Moss of Kingsbury, Robert (Teresa) Moss of La Porte, Diana Lynn (Frank) Modjeska of New Carlisle, and Rodney Bailey of Linton, IN; stepdaughters, Shelly (Chris) Clarke of Michigan City and Brandy (Jack) Wallis of New Carlisle; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Donna Heath of La Porte; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Loree of New Carlisle, Mary Andrews of Chicago, Josephine Carroll of New Carlisle, and Carol Weber of Jackson, MI; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; husband; and son, David Heath.
Lola enjoyed completing cross stitch projects and viewing old movies. She dearly loved reading, especially her Bible.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Patton Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial donations to the Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center, 2855 West State Road 2, La Porte, IN 46350 or to the La Porte County Public Library, 904 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350.

Lola was one of my favorite people in the world. Always smiling and friendly, a great person to have known. The world was better with her in it and she will be greatly missed. RIP Lola dear.
