Lori A. Davis, 66, of Altamont, passed away at 10:41 p.m., Sunday, December 3, 2023, at her home.
Lori Anne Allison was born on March 29, 1957, to Raymond and Wilma (Stice) Allison in Oswego, Kansas. She grew up and attended school in Altamont, graduating from Labette County High School in 1975.
For a number of years, Lori worked in the Labette County clerk's office. From 1984 to 2022, she was the clerk of the district court for Labette County.
A longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Oswego, Lori's faith in God was a very important part of her life.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her granddaughter. She also enjoyed travelling and loved flowers and cats.
Lori and Mark Allen Davis were united in marriage. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include:
One son – Chris Davis of Oswego, Kansas
One granddaughter – Peyton Davis
One brother – Kent Allison and his wife, Kathy, of Coffeyville, Kansas
Numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Oswego.
There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Oswego. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
