Lorraine was born in Somerville and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Livingston College in Salisbury, North Carolina. Lorraine was employed as a factory worker at Crestline for 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed writing. She wrote many poems and even wrote her own book. Lorraine will be sadly missed by all.
She is predeceased by her husband Marion Richard Miller Sr. who passed away in 2019 and her siblings Charlie Williams, Odessa Gibson, Theodore, Williams and Lillian Williams.
Surviving are her children Yvette Marshall, Marion Miller Jr., Maria Henry, and Glenn Miller, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am November 7, 2025 beginning with a visitation at 10am at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville. Entombment will follow at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Woodbridge.
