Born Monday, August 1, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Sebastiano Fontanarosa and Santa Barrotta Fontanarosa.
Louis was the devoted husband of the late Tina who predeceased him in 2003. Loving father to Louis and Robert (Maureen). Cherished uncle to Sanita Celentano.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
