Louise Elizabeth DeSantis, 80, of Schenectady NY, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Ellis Hospital.
Born in October of 1944, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Edna (Henderson) Card.
Louise shared a special bond with her daughter—they were not just family, but truly great friends. Whether they were playing Bingo, coloring, or hosting their own tea parties, they always enjoyed each other’s company. They loved their outings to the mall and often shared a picnic lunch together, making the most of those everyday moments. When her beloved Dominick was still with us, the family spent many days at the table, sipping coffee and playing cards. Some of their favorite memories were made at Kiwanis Park, where they’d gather for picnics and enjoy the outdoors together.
Louise deeply loved her family and cherished the time they spent together. Her warmth, laughter, and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Louise is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Sheila and future son-in-law, Jason; her brothers Johnny, George and her sister Diane; and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her fur baby Lucy.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Dominick of over 40 years and her brother Leroy
