Lucille Elaine Christiansen

Lucille Elaine Christiansen, age 80, of Painted Post, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Absolut Care of Three Rivers. She was born on October 8, 1944 in Elmira, the daughter of the late William and Ida (Gee) Tyler.
Lucille loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She was known for being generous and helpful and she enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Hal Christiansen, children, Denise Youngs of Tennessee, Donald Youngs of Painted Post, John Youngs of Corning, and Daniel Youngs of Tennessee, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many other children she claimed as her own, siblings, Wesley Tyler, Millie Terry, and Arland Tyler, and many nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by her first husband, James E. Youngs Sr in 1985 and her son, James E. Youngs Jr in 1994.
A graveside service will take place at Hope Cemetery in Corning on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucilles name may be sent to Carefirst by going to www.carefirstny.org, the Corning VFW, or to one's local humane society or animal shelter.
