Lucy Gann

Mattie Lucille "Lucy" Gann, 82, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Born on November 8, 1942, in Mt. Pleasant, Lucy was the daughter of Jones Waymon Clayton and Odie Staggs. She dedicated more than 25 years of service to Cubic Transportation Systems, where she was known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit. Lucy was deeply devoted to her family and leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering support. She is survived by her children, Granville Gann (Frankie) and Teresa Gann; grandchildren Jason D. Buckner, Kristy L. Walker, Tonya N. Taylor, Brandon L. Taylor, and Deanna Gann; great-grandchildren Dylan Walker, Keely Walker, Mady Hall, Madison Hall, Mason Hall, and Haley Taylor; and great-great-grandchildren Maggie Walker, Taylor Briar, and one expected great-great-grandson due in November 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Gann; her son, Tony Gann; and her parents, Jones Waymon Clayton and Odie Staggs. Lucy's warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family will be remembered always. She touched many lives and will be missed beyond measure. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Manchester Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 AM, the service will follow beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will conclude at Shady Grove Cemetery in Manchester, TN. Manchester Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gann family.
