Lynn was raised in Midvale, Utah. He graduated in 1965 from Hill Crest High School. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1966-1968 in the Southern California mission. He attended Dixie College. That is where he met Kathy, his eternal companion. They have been happily married for almost 50 years.
Lynn enjoyed traveling and took two Church history tours and a cruise to Alaska. He loved woodworking, building things and ham radios. He loved to read. He was passionate about being prepared. CERT being a part of that. He served faithfully in his many ward and stake callings. He enjoyed annual trips to Bear Lake and raspberry shakes. He worked at Covey's Laundry and Linen supply for 10 years. Then went to work for the City of St George Wastewater Treatment plant for 20 years, retiring in January of 2012. He loved to tease and joke with his good friends. His favorite thing to do was grocery shopping. He loved to visit with people.
