Lynne Adaire Hunt, 85, of Round Lake, IL died of medical complications on Thursday October 19, 2023 at Advocate Condell Medical Center Libertyville, IL. Lynne was born on January 8, 1938 in San Francisco, CA to Earl and Phyllis (Egelston) Lavender and later adopted by Roy Asher.
Lynne worked part time jobs off and on, but took most pride in being a homemaker. She enjoyed being a home cook and making everything from scratch, including desserts and pasta. Lynne enjoyed canning and pickling different fruits and vegetables. She was also a trailblazer in the 1970s by having her own compost bin for her garden. Lynne also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and was a passionate dog lover. Lynne was a faithful follower of Jesus and her Christian faith was her foundation. She often participated in weekly church service and bible studies. She loved her home football team the NFL Oakland Raiders and watched every game. Lynne was loved by all who met her due to her kind demeanor and acceptance of others.
Lynne was proceeded in death by her parents, as well as her brother Phil Asher. Lynne is survived by her children Daniel Hansson, Karen Robbins, Dennis Davis, and William (Bill) Merrill. Also survived by her grandchildren: Sudania Hansson, MaKayla Berezin, Karley Huddelston, Joshua Davis, Julia Davis, Micky Davis, Douglas Merrill, Missa Clem, and Brynton Merrill. Lynne also has multiple great grandchildren.
