Mackenzie Scott Hart was born January 17, 1986 to Scott and Tracy Hart. He showed a penchant for electronics at an early age, by sticking a sandwich in the family's VCR.
Mac was a sweet boy with bright blue eyes and a cute smile. When he was a newborn people would remark that he was so pretty he should have been a girl!
Mac loved video games, the original TMNT, watching cooking shows and most of all his 2005 Mustang. His 2005 Mustang was his baby. He took exceptional care of it and found driving her to be therapeutic and thrilling.
He was extremely loyal and had a fun sense of humor. He had the best laugh and gave great hugs.
The year 2022 was a difficult one for Mackenzie and after many counseling appointments with a church deacon he said the prayer of salvation and surrendered his life to Christ. He was baptized March 16, 2022.
Mackenzie lost his seven-month battle with leukemia and passed peacefully in his sleep on December 13th. He is survived by his mother Tracy, his parents Scott and Sherry, and his siblings and their spouses, Mallory and Trevor Goodin, Chris and Laury Stricklin, Alex and Rachel Hart and Joseph Pino.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, at 1:00pm, at First Christian Church, 7301 Miller Rd, Rowlett TX 75088, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm at the same location, followed by a private interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett.

Mack was my friend in high school for a couple years. I remember a lot of nights hanging out playing video games together. Lots of fun. Til that day, then.
