Madeleine Comba, passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2024, in Monroe, NJ. She was born on June 29, 1950, raised in Staten Island, NY.
Madeleine pursued her love for animals and was known for her compassionate nature. She took delight in decorating her home, finding solace in creating a warm and inviting space. An avid lover of seafood and the beach, Madeleine found peace and happiness by the water. Above all, she treasured spending quality time with her family, especially her adored grandson, who held a special place in her heart.
Professionally, Madeleine excelled as a Banquet Manager and worked at The Seeing Eye Dog, where she prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the blind individuals training with their dogs. Her dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those around her.
Throughout her 73 years of life, Madeleine touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, having been married to Andrew for 55 years. Madeleine was a loving mother to her son Andrew and her daughter Susan. She adored her grandson Luis Lopez, who brought immense joy and light into her life. Her dogs, Theo and Chico, were also cherished members of her family.
Madeleine was preceded in death by her beloved parents William and Margaret Roane and adored brother William Roane.
Madeleine is survived by her loving daughter Susan and husband Douglas Lopez, by her caring son Andrew Comba and partner Karen. And by her cherished grandson Luis Lopez. Also by her adored dogs Theo and Chico.
A funeral mass will be held to honor and celebrate the life of Madeleine Comba. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her. May her memory live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church located at 109 Laurence Parkway Laurence Harbor, New Jersey 08879. Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park located at 840 Cranbury - South River Rd, Jamesburg, NJ 08831
