Born on March 5, 1945, in Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa; Joyce was a daughter of the late Jonathan O. and Augusta T. (Wilson) Harris.
She retired as a healthcare worker for the State of New Jersey.
Survived by her husband, Paul J.S. Comba; a daughter, Admira Marah of East Stroudsburg; and a son, Paul Comba jnr of Vermont.
She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Henry and Silina Koroma, Joh-Ann, John, Fina and Namansa Marah, and Nadia, Ariel, Paul and Joy Comba; four great-grandchildren, David, Aliyah, Ayana & Toni; two brothers, George Harris and wife Berenice and Desmond Harris; a sister, Daisy Harvey and her husband Milton Harvey; and many nieces and nephews including Garnet Harris and his wife Mellissa, Sheila & Gloria Harris.
She was preceded in death by her sister Dulcie Harris and her daughter, Gloria Kaitell.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 15th, at Christian Life Assembly, 2209 West Main Street, Stroudsburg with viewing beginning at 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at noon with Pastor Craig Johnson officiating. Graveside services and burial will take place on Monday, July 17th, at 10:00AM at Prospect Cemetery.
