Madora Jane Donnellon, 96, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on June 12, 2025 at home. She was born on January 17, 1929 to Carl Barklow and Nettie Albright Barklow in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Clinton Elementary School and graduated from North High School, Class of 1946. She married John Donnellon in June of 1950 in Columbus. She was retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital. Madora was a member of St. Peter where she sang in the choir and played in the bell choir. She played the piano and was a talented artist. Madora was a very devoted animal lover. Madora loved to travel. She enjoyed trips to Israel, London, Italy, Russia, Ireland, Mexico, Egypt and her favorite place to visit was Paris. She is survived by her son; Steve Donnellon, daughter; Jill Taylor, and nephew; Shawn Barklow. She was preceded in death by parents; Carl and Nettie Barklow, husband; John Donnellon, son; David Donnellon, and brother; Carl Barklow, Jr. A private graveside service will be held followed by burial at Union Cemetery. The family suggests that donations be made to Children's Hospital or Cozy Cat Cottage. Madora trusted in the Lord and looked forward to being reunited with her family in Heaven.
