Manuel Segovia Jr., 80, entered eternal rest on March 17, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, having been surrounded by his loving family by his side.
He is preceded in death by his son: Ruben Segovia; parents: Manuel and Consuelo Segovia; brother: Mario Segovia and sister: Thelma Segovia.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 58 years of marriage, Norma Benavides Segovia; children: Orlando (Annette) Segovia, Arlene Segovia; grandchildren: Orlando Segovia Jr., Christine Segovia, Lauren (Logan Ballases) Segovia, Emily (Alex) Cervera, Denise (Kevin) Davila; great-grandchildren: Justin Segovia, Hailey Segovia, Austin Segovia, Sebastian Segovia, River Canales, Jasmine Cervera, Emma Cervera, Vanessa Davila, Kaylynne Davila, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 8 am until 12 noon at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Funeral Service will commence at 11 am with Rev. Pastor Gilberto Velez.
The procession will depart the chapel at 12 noon to the Laredo City Cemetery for a graveside service at 12:30 pm.
